I specialise in setting up and running computerised bookkeeping systems, as this is the most efficient way of recording and handling the numerous business transactions a business has. With the use of cloud-based software solutions, I can significantly improve the workflow of handling these transactions, using their associated scanning technology. This automates the data collection process and ensures records of invoices are linked to the accounting transaction, with the software itself, reducing paperwork. I specialise in the use of Xero accounting software, although I have continued to use Sage software, where the client already uses this.
Management accounting enables you to make informed business decisions. I can assist you in planning, budgeting and forecasting. Regular accurate and up-to-date financial reports are a key to monitoring your business performance.
I have been a Xero partner since 2016. I am a Xero Certified Advisor and have achieved Bronze Champion Partner status based on the number of Xero clients I serve and completing additional Xero training, which includes becoming a Xero Migration and Making Tax Digital Specialist. As a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, I have continued to maintain my continuing professional development, in keeping up with developments in technology and professional standards. When it comes to finalising your annual accounts, the software I use will produce draft accounts for the year for you to review and agree. I can then help you in making any journal adjustments for accruals & prepayments, which are required, prior to the accounts being submitted to your accountant to finalise the formal published accounts.
