I have found the Payroll Manager software provided by Moneysoft to be a cost-effective solution for most small businesses. As I hold a bureaux licence, I am able to run the payroll from my office in Gloucester and can email out payslips and forms to staff. which are password protected and so GDPR compliant.
However, the key to running your payroll remotely is that the information on your employees wages/salaries must be sent to agreed timescales, so that you have the information in time to pay the employees their wages, or salaries.
